Mental Health Concerns in Adolescence
Mental health concerns in adolescence, this may result in a mental illness and no person is exempted from this illness whether you are young or old you can have this disease if you do not fight it. According to the World Health Organization, young people in this disease are more likely to have a chance, one of the affect is the technology that has emerged today. Some people say that "The mood of the youth now is different, when they see that they are not doing good they are hurting themselves" This can be obtained from their childhood days. The WHO added that at the age of 10-19 they are those young people who often have serious mental illness which must give its immediate proper treatment at the age of 10-19 should a young person have good mental health, multiple physical, emotional and social changes to make their adolescence stage more meaningful.
Adolescence is a crucial period for developing and maintaining social and emotional habits important for mental well-being, they should socialize with others, have a good sleep, have the right exercise and have a supportive environment but there are also young people without that basis could be caused by that occurred in recent years such as violence and discrimination. The mental health concerns of a young person can be emotional disorders can also experience excessive irritability, frustration, or anger and depression is one of the leading causes of mental illness and is followed by anxiety. Eating disorders, this is often the case with women because women often notice their body, Eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa also include a preoccupation with food, body shape or weight, and behavior such as excessive exercise or vomiting to compensate for calorie intake. Suicide and self-harm, WHO estimated at 62,000 suicides in adolescence by 2016, suicide attempts by youth because they feel they are hopelessness or loneliness. Due to the increasing of youth experiencing mental illness the WHO immediately reacted to this issue, they had "Promoting and Prevention" that each country should have around the world, "Promoting and Prevention" aims to provide the right guide for young people not only from their parents but also from the government, it is a set of activities and seminars that can be accessed and accompanied by youth experiencing or not mental illness.
The adolescence is the target of mental illness, it is a lifeless age but young people are more likely to experience this disease. Mental health concerns in adolescents if you are experiencing them should you seek help or attend in the programs provided by our government that are aims to protect our minds.
